So I am a little behind in technology! This past week I just
started using Netflix, and I love it. I think it’s the greatest thing since
sliced bread!
I have been watching two shows on and off, and I decided to
watch Beauty and The beast from the CW and Hart of Dixie! I love these shows.
I got to tell you both of these characters are great
examples for young women as well! So I can make TV educational!
First off Beauty and The Beast is a show about a female cop
and a soldier that was injected with DNA change transformer thing!
Hart of Dixie is about a young doctor that moves from New
York to Alabama, and you get to see the life struggles that she goes through.
It makes you feel normal too.
I think
that both of these shows are great examples for women, because they are both
strong female characters. These roles are good for younger women to look up to.
Also, I like how they don’t have their lives completely figured out. It makes me feel better/normal. All of this
pressure about having everything figured out,
at a certain age and time bracket can be stressful, so it’s nice to not
be the only one figuring life out as it happens. So you can learn from TV!

I love Netflix too. I decided about a year and a half ago to get rid of the dish/cable. Now I have a Netflix, Hulu+ and Aereo account. I always liked the show Charmed and have since watched it again on Netflix. Also I had never watched the show Bones until Netflix and now it is one of my favorites. With this winter being so cold and being forced to stay in, Netflix can help pass the time.
ReplyDeleteSounds like some great shows!
