This post is going to be about
random acts of kindness. A few months ago I was out to lunch with a friend at a
simple diner. We stayed for a while; we had a delicious meal, and just
discussed what was going on in our lives. We were probably eating and talking
for an hour or so. It was a great time. When we went to go pay the bill, the
bill had already been paid by some random man in the restaurant. Now a days,
some people might call that creepy that a man noticed us and decided to pay our
bill. I think it is considered a random act of kindness, they just don’t happen
often so people don’t know how to react. I understand people may not have the
money or resources to help others that often, but I think we should do that
more often. We could try simple things like helping an elder reach an item in
the grocery store, or letting somebody in when you’re driving. So, that’s my
challenge this week, do something nice for somebody you don’t know. It will
make them feel good, and you will feel better for helping somebody and paying
it forward. Why can’t we try and help others?
Great post! Love the YouTube clip!
